14th July 2010 Windsurfing: Felixstowe - Dip Wind Direction: SSE Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: Warm Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: What Felixstowe sometimes delivers... A really good evening, nice steady wind and excellent waves. You know it's fun when you spend a large proportion of time out of the harness playing with the waves - all backside stuff, but much fun. Loads of stunt-ramps on the way out too - if I'd not lost my nerve these really were the perfect shape for loop practice. Today Felixstowe blew Shoreham away for fun, and that doesn't happen very often. Had to stop quite soon though, and swap board for bike to cycle to town for a work friend's leaving do. Hopefully won't be too hungover for a repeat tomorrow! Can't remember giving a session 5 stars for a long time, but I can't think of a reason not to tonight :-) |
